Our Story

The Fahrney family’s journey in the automotive industry began in 1956 with the humble roots of Swanson Fahrney Ford, a small dealership in Pixley, California, no larger than a gas station. Through hard work and dedication, the business grew, eventually relocating to Selma and laying the foundation for what would become a multi-generational legacy.

The next generation expanded our footprint, introducing Fahrney GMC and Toyota of Selma to the family. By 2023, we welcomed Tracy Nissan to the fold, followed by Hanford Hyundai, Merced Hyundai, Merced Kia, and Merced Volkswagen in 2024. Today, the Fahrney Automotive Group proudly spans three generations and nine dealerships, united by a shared commitment to excellence.
